Jessica joined Main Street a year ago, bringing seven years of experience in CNC and JDE software support. Since then, she has expanded her skillset and built strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.

A Journey into IT and Solutions Architecture

Jessica’s career started in inbound call center support and technical training, where she developed a keen eye for problem-solving. She quickly transitioned into IT, spending seven years as a CNC, mastering JDE security implementations, system upgrades, and server rollouts. Wanting to take on more responsibility, she moved to Main Street Technical Services to deepen her expertise in JDE software support, security, and infrastructure management.

Her current role as a Solutions Architect includes:

  • Ensuring system stability and security for clients

  • Handling new user setups, access controls, and role configurations

  • Overseeing system upgrades and new software implementations

  • Providing technical leadership and serving as a primary contact for issue resolution

I love building relationships with our clients and being a trusted partner they can rely on,Jessica says. Collaboration, clear communication, and ensuring everyone is on the same page are key to her success.

Project Success: Supporting Government Operations

  • Documenting disaster recovery and system restoration processes

  • Managing incident response and escalation workflows

  • Setting up user access and security schedules in PagerDuty

  • Coordinating with offshore teams to streamline production-down event responses

Her ability to build structure and efficiency within high-pressure environments has made her a go-to expert for JDE security and process optimization.

A Passion for Learning & Paying It Forward

Jessica actively pursues professional development through Oracle webinars, LinkedIn networking, and certifications. She has already earned her Qsoft certification and is currently working toward:

  • Boomi certification

  • Security+ certification

  • Cloud certification

As a woman in tech, she is passionate about empowering more women to pursue careers in IT and cybersecurity. She hopes to mentor and advocate for inclusion in the industry while continuing to develop her expertise in JDE, Boomi integrations, and AI automation.

Beyond IT: Giving Back & Staying Active

Jessica dedicates time to community service and advocacy when she's not solving complex security challenges. She volunteers for a crisis hotline and supports the blind or visually impaired community with visual assistance. She also enjoys:

  • Knitting and crocheting stuffies/hats for her kiddo and local homeless shelters

  • Gaming (where she met her partner!)

  • Reading at local libraries and Barnes & Noble

  • Exploring the local park and the Columbia River with her child
